Review # 1 was written on 2017-09-30 00:00:00 Jay Caldwell I was impressed by this book because it was largely unbiased and presented a fair treatment to both JPII and the Church from a perspective that was not at all religious. One or two things I might have disagreed with, but overall they did him justice. It would seem the audience for this book is ages 8-12 but there are some rather blunt descriptions of sexuality and sexual ethics that don't seem age-appropriate so I would caution adults before they let their children read it. Other than that, I have no major qualms.

In 1978, Karol wojtyla became Pope John Paul 2, he was a major figure of modern history, He was also the symbol of faith and hope to millions of people around the world as my family and also many Africans...to others he represented a belief system that they questioned. He played a large role in religious, political and social matters. Pope John Paul 2 die in 2005, he was the head of the Roman Catholic Church for more than 25 years. He was not murdered but dies because sick As I was in catholic high school and university, all time the priest was talking about the Pope John Paul 2, by the time I was so excited to learn more about him. The day of his first speech he said, ‘do not be scare. ‘Also I remember his entire trip in Africa I watched on TV, this was so special for Africa because I think he is different to other, for his entire trip he brought hopeless and at this time we need that. For me, he was the Pope of the union and I really like him for that. However, until now I am waiting for the same for who he is next to him.
