Review # 1 was written on 2010-01-26 00:00:00 Bob Dieckman Not as good as the first one. Thought there was a lot of extraneous set-up to get to the good battle pages (of which, there were about 50). If you don't live in Nashville and don't know why names like Linsley, Cheatham, and Donelson are important, this is probably not the book for you.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-09-30 00:00:00 Dejko Nikolaj Good basic summary of the Civil War in Kansas. It's part of a series by Pelican. I like Roy's style, but then again, I like Roy. He also happens to help with the Kansas Center for the Book, sponsored by the State Library of Kansas.
