Review # 1 was written on 2020-07-07 00:00:00 Mynetria Jones I co-authored this book. What I learned was, besides a lot about Mount Whitney, how to write, publish and sell a book! Doug Thompson is a master mountain-climber and cares a lot about the people who come to visit "The Mountain." I think of him as the re-embodiment of John Muir. It was a priviledge to work with him (and his wife and son) on this project.
