Review # 1 was written on 2008-01-08 00:00:00 Calvin Cruz A decent effort--I got through it, but it was one of the least inspiring running books I've read. The problem, I think, is that Maurer actually isn't that good of a writer. Also, there were occasional moments that made me think, "no way, that would never really happen." In Once a Runner, on the other hand, John L. Parker described my many of my experiences as a runner better than I could have myself.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-01-30 00:00:00 Jean Paul awesome story. Lots of good quotes from Coach Wickers too. Love how it ends.
