Re-read: This is the first Book I’ve finished reading in 2020! 🥳 I’ve had this Book for *ages* & I’m sure I’ve re-read it before-Pre joining Goodreads... 🤔 It took me *ages* to re-read it this time, as I started reading it enthusiastically back in Aug/Summertime-But then put down/left it for ages! 🙈 It’s an ace Book for reminding yourself/learning about the mind/body/spirit connection, self care & physical/mental/spiritual health. 😊 It also has loads of {simply presented} information about *how* to look after yourself, your mind/body/spirit & how to use different techniques to do this, that can fit within your lifestyle. 👍🏽 The images are lovely, the writing’s calm & firm-But not patronising & it’s all very straightforward. Being Vegan myself, I obviously also like that the nutritional info leans towards being plant based. 🌱 But then that’s not surprising, as {originally} The Body Shop was all about that vibe! 💚 It could do with being updated for 2020-As it was originally published in 1998, which was 12 years ago-Wait, what? 🤭 So now there’s general info in it that needs updating, as well as loads more that could be added to it. Also, the part about relationships is very Womxn orientated & inclusive of other cultures, which is great. 👌🏽 But it’s not unforch very inclusive to any other genders/identities/sexualities & their experiences of life/the rituals/experiences that they mention. But again, probs coz 1998! 😄 But anyways, I deffo recommend it-If you’re into that sorta thing! 😉

Excellent audio book! Dr.'s Andrew Weil & Martin Rossman present a great approach to using guided imagery. The first section explains the process of guided imagery, discusses the importance of using it in congruence with modern medicine, and examines the power of the mind. The second section provides you several exercises for guided imagery. This book is great for everyone. Even if you don't have health problems now, it can help you get more in tune with your body. For me, I think this is going to be a great step in the management of my chronic rib injury.
