Review # 1 was written on 2017-09-14 00:00:00 Mariaelena Mendoza Interesante ensayo de Bergson. Aquí se aprecia con meridiana claridad el inicio de lo que en Husserl nacerá con el nombre de fenomenología. En esta obra nuestro autor trata de hacer equilibrios entre el idealismo y realismo con la única idea de salvar el alma humana de la plena materialidad a la luz de las evidencias que en su tiempo mostraban los estudios sobre patologías cerebrales y memoria. Su obra bien trazada abre razonables perspectivas para la comprensión de las relaciones de lo que hoy llamaríamos mente-cerebro más allá de un paralelismo simplista. No obstante, es una obra de indudable valor que hay que colocar en su tiempo y su lugar, llena de virtualidades fértiles, ideas aún útiles y fecundas, y algún que otro error manifiesto a la luz de las evidencias de hoy.
