Excellent overview of the Hindu religion and philosophy, covering a brief review of the ancient texts, cosmography, major Gods and Goddesses, sacred sites, and more. Useful tables outline Hindu history, attribution of the chakras, and comparisons of Hindu tenets with those of Christianity and Judaism. Recommended for anyone interested in learning more about one of the world's major religions.

An amazing read. I picked up this book to get know more about my religion. And it didn't disappoint me. A comprehensive book for Hinduism. You won't get everything in detail but you will get a very good idea about Hinduism and it's science. If you haven't read any book about Hinduism, Start with this one.
