Review # 1 was written on 2013-12-24 00:00:00 Vincent Saltarelli This is a very interesting reference book about magic which is a bibliographic essay on all aspects of magic. Although it is now rather dated having been published in 1986 there are many references to classic books of magic. I particularly liked the card magic, history and biography sections.

These maps will take years to comb through and I'm so grateful to have this beautiful reference as the centerpiece of my coffee table. I have, however, finally finished reading all of the educational information that accompanies these maps. At times it felt like reading a reference book because I was, indeed, reading a reference book. But it also felt like reading history, sociology, geography, and poli-sci all wrapped into one!
