The average rating for Fishing Tandem Flies: Tactics, Techniques, and Rigs to Catch More Trout based on 2 reviews is 4 stars.
Review # 1 was written on 2019-12-30 00:00:00 Gordon Azure A complete overview from one of the masters in the fly fishing industry. The topic of how to fish these rigs is discussed at length, which is a plus to its credit; other books on the same topic simply speak of how to set up the rig, but leave the topic of how to fish them up to the angler to figure out. This book, however, is quite comprehensive in its dealings with the topic, leaving little (if anything) for the reader to figure out on their own, unaided. I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 stars only because the diagrams and pictures seem less than adequate for the task of explaining what the text is conveying at times. This is just my personal experience with the pictures and diagrams, and your mileage may vary. The author, however, is in my opinion one of the best in this topic, and more than makes up for the lack of adequacy in diagrams, by his stellar text to complement them. |
Review # 2 was written on 2017-10-12 00:00:00 Brent Matsen Good book, challenges with e-book version This book has some good information for tandem setups. The only drawback is that the author refers to page numbers which don't line up with the e-book. |
