Review # 2 was written on 2014-10-01 00:00:00 Tony B Jones If you don't live in Missouri or one of the 8 or so contiguous states, this book is pretty useless. But it does list many of the natural and accessible wonders of the Show-Me state, ranging from scenic bluffs with astounding views and historic significance, bubbling Ozark springs, trout streams, and float trips, and the many limestone caves first popularized by Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer. If you live nearby, this is a handy reference book to use on weekend outings. If you don't live nearby, well, get a guide of your own locale. |
