As a huge Indycar and racing fan in general, I loved this book. It details Honda's involvement in open-wheel racing in the 90's up into the early 2000's in CART, and also their eventual exit from the series. My first race I ever attended was to the 1998 Texaco/Havoline 200 at Elkhart Lake, WI- which was featured prominently in this book as Dario Franchitti's first win and a landmark win for Team Kool Green and Honda. Reading this book was like reliving this time in my life when I first discovered my love for auto racing and truly the hay days of CART racing. It was great to hear some of the inside information regarding the engines and driver's opinions and point of views which I didn't know of while it was happening back then. I had always had a deep respect for Honda before this book as well, and this only strengthened that respect even more. John Oreovicz is an ESPN columnist I have followed for a long time now and I mostly agree with his columns and I appreciate his love of the sport. Gordon Kirby I haven't read as much that he has done but would be eager to read more books that he is involved with. I would recommend this book to any racing fan, let alone because of the great pictures, and think it is a must-own for any Indycar fan.
