In this easy to read book, Husman in great detail tells the story of Toledo baseball from its humble beginnings in 1883 to the modern era. Throughout the book he uses statistics & photographs from local resources to tell the history year by year. There is also a complete statistical history of the team (record-wise) & also a complete roster of the team up through the date of the book's publication in 2002. A very easy & enjoyable read for to tell the passion & history of a franchise with perhaps the most memorable nickname in any sport.
