I admit it, I am a political satire junkie! I do tend to be more toward the conservative side of the fence, but even I can laugh at myself, and I have never been a big fan of The W! Most hardcore republicans will not appreciate this cute little fairytale, but whomever you are, think twice before you read it to your kids , lol! Excerpt: "No, George, No! Your imagination is supposed to be used for the good of all people. Creating organizations and special projects just for you and your friends to run the entire world is simply selfish." The subject matter of this book is way above the comprehension of most young children. I say most, because my politically minded young son picked up on the context easily. Heck, he's the one who pointed out the book to me to begin with! Really young kids, who don't really care about the words, will love the bright colors and innovative drawings. The quality of the illustrations are not exactly museum worthy, but they are on par with cartoons, such as; South Park, King of the Hill, or The Simpsons. I would recommend this book if you want a good laugh! Excerpt: "Anything is possible Remember this is true, Who you are becoming Is entirely up to you."

Satire at its worst. I want my 20 minutes back.
