Review # 1 was written on 2012-04-05 00:00:00 Todd Conwell Just read this in preparation for probable surgery soon - it is EXCELLENT. It told me all about the different types of rod surgery and why they use which one. I now understand how the surgery would work to every little detail, my chances of success, every little thing to expect, how to prepare. I'm quite thankful that David Wolpert wrote this book. I've done a LOT of research the last few months and this is the best guide of "what to expect" there is out there for someone facing this surgery. Please note, this book is geared towards adults, not teens, with idiopathic scoliosis. I will most likely refer to it several more times before and after surgery. I hope none of you know anyone facing adult scoliosis surgery, but if so, you must send them this book. |
