Review # 1 was written on 2019-05-25 00:00:00 Erica Futral This book had some editing errors, but overall it was a good read. My ancestor who was in Quantrill's regimen was mentioned, but all of the information was not correctly reported mainly because John Atchison did "disappear" after the Civil War and started a new life out of which I now exist.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-05-07 00:00:00 Jane Davis A bit long and dry at points. Good material. Author could probably do a little bit of a better job contextualizing for readers. Still, good survey of Stephen's life.
