Review # 1 was written on 2019-08-17 00:00:00 John Menzies I found this to be a unique botanical read. I liked following along in some of the adventures described, and the excitement the author shares for finding wild orchids is great. Unfortunately, I also found the author a bit dull and pedantic at times. My favourite part of reading this was getting excited to go find some if the unique flowers I previously had not known even existed, that have a range close to where I live. The most interesting orchid I learned about was the 3 bird orchid - what a cool life history! Overall I would recommend this to fellow botanical nerds.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-09-05 00:00:00 Valeka E Moore Title is definitely misleading. It's more of a history of popular press (and not a very ground-breaking one at that)
