This will go in my top five textbooks. It is easy to read, arranged well, and brimming over with useful information. I do wish there was a more recent edition. With a publication date of 2011, it is a bit aged. However, it is a terrific resource for anyone interested in increasing cultural competence.

I LOVE this book! So interesting! But under pressure to read and write so much, sometimes I can't wait until the chapter's end. I would love this book even more if it broke down cultures into their own categories. For example, if they did a chapter each on the Japanese, Asian, German, European, French, Arab, American cultures, then had a chart showing each culture artifact and how it compares to the others. Right now, it's all jumbled together and makes it incredibly difficult to find the facts and the quotes that are needed for my papers, despite my copious notes and interest in the subject.
