Review # 1 was written on 2018-09-22 00:00:00 Steven Slade It is a good introduction, brief and general. Supported with pictures and maps and exercises.

Review # 2 was written on 2010-01-10 00:00:00 Jesper Bang-p Thortzen In order to pass a CLEP test, I read this book. I found it refreshingly not politically correct. It is also everything one needs to pass that exam. Interesting that it was meant for younger school students over 100 years ago and that it may now be used for college level placement. It is very useful for elementary school teaching of U.S. History. Loved it! (and I passed the test)
