Review # 1 was written on 2014-07-10 00:00:00 Odo Odin I've read all of Yount's books to date, and it seems each is better than the previous. Thief of Dreams is my favorite. The characters and their lives are described in a way that makes them fully human. This is a novel that is in every way as honest, authentic, and real as fiction can be. Yount is one of America's best novelists.

Review # 2 was written on 2007-09-24 00:00:00 Jimmy Barton This book is a beautifully told story of a broken family and what happens to the boy caught in the middle. The descriptions of middle America, graphic sex, true childhood friendships, and how they fall apart are glistening and the language is fantastic. Read this book.
