Review # 1 was written on 2012-10-25 00:00:00 S D Model A short book with a cool concept. The author takes historical post cards of Fairfax county sites and has a paragraph or so describing the history of that site. As a life long Fairfax County resident there were some buildings I am familiar with, but also a fair amount of new things. I gave it an average reading for two reasons... One, I feel like he could have included many more sites (but then, one might argue, things would be kind of repetitive). Two, he seems to spend a disproportionate amount of time focusing on Mount Vernon and Fort Belvoir.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-06-02 00:00:00 brad mattix A book of historical postcards which give insight into the history of Fairfax County. Very interesting to see how places I know have changed over the years
