Review # 1 was written on 2013-05-10 00:00:00 Gabriel Banyay Maybe one has to collect enough life to like Tranströmer's poems or maybe the poems are for days like these endless work and a poem the only consolation a gondola full of sorrow, but still a gondola!

Review # 2 was written on 2012-07-21 00:00:00 Kjl Shh Tranströmer's poetry feels personal on a level I can't appreciate. I like some of his turns of phrase ("a tremendous insult is slipped over your head like a sack"), but the poems are short to the point of feeling incomplete.
