Review # 1 was written on 2019-11-14 00:00:00 Christina Savage (This book is available for free on the Internet and was uploaded by the author himself so it's totally legal! Google it and check it out for yourself!) This book was the most honest-seeming account of being a hotshot lawyer on Wall Street, and really showed the ugly side of the profession. The author addressed the reader as a "lawyer" (despite knowing than many of his book's potential readers would be aspiring law school students), and thus allowed the reader to try on the role of "lawyer" for themselves. It wasn't an optimistic book by any means, but I think it's important to read works like this. Too many idealize lawyers based on popular television shows, such as Law & Order and the like. I would recommend this book to anyone who is considering law school. It's an entertaining, informative read. I love it and I appreciate the fact that the author didn't hold back and was brutally honest.
