Touches on a very sensitive topic without being too blunt or descriptive about the danger of damaging our ecosystem and the animals that reside in that ecosystem. Has a good detailed art style that would appeal to an older crowd of kids and informative facts that children will be able to relate to the outside world. Could be used to teach about animal endangerment, habitat destruction, and what we as people could do to ensure that the environment is sustainable and healthy. Would use to teach to children and to anyone being introduced to animal and habitat conservation.

Review # 2 was written on 2010-01-22 00:00:00 Richard Cuminale We read this book this morning. Natalie was a little interested in the pictures, but not like other books. I really liked the concept of this book. The "x" page was sad with all the extinct animals.
