Review # 1 was written on 2018-11-04 00:00:00 George Lawrence When I think of Barry Ween, this is the story I remember. When I wish for more Barry Ween, this story is the reason why. The three comics leading up to this are wonderful, and well-worth reading in their own right. That said, what really makes them worthwhile is the stage they set for this book. This heartbreaking story. It's twice as good as everything that comes before it. I do dearly hope that Winick someday comes back to the series and does more work in it. I would really love to see more of the characters and get some closure on the world...

Review # 2 was written on 2019-08-10 00:00:00 Matt Pederson [Of course Barry retrieves it in minutes and returns to more important things - what to do about Sara. She doesn't want to go back home, but changes her mind in order to get Barry to help the gorilla leader one last time. Barry leads the effort to build defenses against the Tolan assault. The Tolans have captured and converted the gorilla leader. The battle is a hairy one, but Barry's strategies are successful. Unfortunately, Sara is killed. Upon returning home, Barry decides to risk dying to go back in time and ensure that he is the only one who travels to the other dimension. While victorious at the end, he breaks down into tears.
