Review # 1 was written on 2017-02-04 00:00:00 Tristin Walerko Very easy read. I gave the book a three star rating, because it was good enough to be read when trying to understand the basics of hedge fund investing.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-02-28 00:00:00 Mitch Hughes North and Thomas' argue that changes in economic conditions, beginning in the 16th century, allowed Britain and Netherlands to break free of the Malthusian cycle. It was economics that changed ideas and institutions, not the other way around.
