A great retrospective of the Pacific coast Leage in its "Glory Days", when the PCL as considered an "open" league - just a step below Major League Baseball. Long rumored to become a third major league, the PCL lost two of its biggest cities when Brooklyn and the New York Giants moved to Los Angeles and San Francisco, respectively. The league also suffered with substandard stadiums and playing fields. |
