Review # 1 was written on 2020-05-24 00:00:00 Nancy Trimble I bought this in 1993 at Art Quake. It was lost after several moves and I just found it a few months ago. The book took a little getting used to, the transition from one scene to another were a little jarring. Overall I liked it, though the end made me a bit sad.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-05-07 00:00:00 Gary Monette I remember this book from when I was a kid and all its references to rain and dislike of Californians who were moving north en masse back then. Nowadays we've got even more extreme weather and we're trying to build a wall. Guess that whole scene just isn't quite as funny anymore.
