Her refusal to give up her seat to a white passenger on a Montgomery, Alabama bus created a city wide boycott. Montgomery had no choice but to lift the law requiring segregation on public buses. This book is a timeline of her life from early childhood until her greatest civil rights achievements. It is a great read for any child learning about the civil rights movement and what an inspiration Rosa Parks was. This book is filled with photographs capturing her entire life.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-06-14 00:00:00 Brenda Soto This is the life story of Rosa Parks. I didn't realize that she lived with her grandparents when she was little. I admire Rosa for standing up for what she believes in!
