Review # 1 was written on 2014-12-18 00:00:00 Anthony BARTROP First published in 1977, this book is clearly part of the so-called first-wave of reviews of E.M Forster's Maurice. Interesting enough, I personally felt that it was too disparaging, and took a slightly blunt instrument to the subtler nuances of the still contested subject it deals with. Meyers's review of Dorian Gray, however, I found incredibly interesting and useful for my current studies. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-07-25 00:00:00 Thomas Adams Found this gem on the Internet Archive Library: Support libraries and archives, kids! There is definitely not enough non-fiction about Hispanic/Latinx LGBT+ culture in the world. I only wish I was introduced to this book earlier in my life. Keep in mind, this was published in the 1990's, so the discussion is mostly about the G, the L, and a little bit of the B, but no T or A (haha joke), but otherwise I would recommend this for those interested in Queer and Feminist Theory. |
