Review # 1 was written on 2012-12-26 00:00:00 Donald Cline A wonderful overview. I found this anthology very helpful while studying for my doctoral comprehensive exam in American politics. In addition to a good selection of material, the introductions to each section offer useful summaries of the major concepts and movements that drove American political thought during each period.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-12-29 00:00:00 Robert Anaya I was actually surprised I really liked this book! It was fairly interesting readings, probably my favorite textbook ever assigned to me by a teacher. I enjoyed 90% of the articles that the placed in this book.
