Review # 1 was written on 2020-03-11 00:00:00 Peter Carr this is probably the most classic book of klezmer sheet music. almost any klezmer musician will know the tunes in this book and probably owns this book. given that it's still pretty well researched and selected even compared to books that have come out in subsequent years.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-01-17 00:00:00 David Kiwus Really loved this book - it was engaging and full of helpful information. I would have really appreciated this book when I was back in high school and considering a degree in music performance. If you know a student(s) in that position, do them a favor and recommend they read this book! A side note: the first book in this series is also excellent and should be required reading for anyone considering a career as a teacher (not just a music teacher).
