Review # 1 was written on 2009-03-07 00:00:00 Barry Koch After letting this sit on my bookshelf for a number of years I finally skimmed through it, and I wish I had done so before I bought it. This book is a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none sort of book: it touches on the very basics of a number of healing modalities and techniques, including massage and bodywork, nutrition, chakra work, meditation and breathing, energy work, herbal healing, and aromatherapy. However, the information given for each modality is so elementary and bare-bones that you really can't do anything with it. Unless you have no experience whatsoever with any of these healing modalities, you'll be much better off getting a more comprehensive book about whichever technique(s) you happen to be interested in.
