Review # 1 was written on 2021-01-06 00:00:00 Linda Rudy Norman C. Bansen was one of my professors in college and a wonderful soul. These letters and essays are from his experiences as a young officer in 1944-46 as he worked as a U.S. army hospital in India. His love for India and its peoples is made clear. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-06-18 00:00:00 Jason Austin It with great joy to be able to say that the author of this great book was my professor of Creative Writing at Dana College in Blair, Nebraska. He was one of the best storytellers I've ever met and was knighted by the King of Denmark for his work on American-Danish relations. He loved telling us of his tales of India during class! Sir Norman wrote as he spoke - so this book is a treat to read because it as though he is sitting in his classroom, telling us his stories of India! |
