Review # 1 was written on 2018-01-06 00:00:00 Trent Adams I was revisiting this collection after citing the introduction in my dissertation and returning to it for consideration in helping to articulate queer identities in geographies. The editors made interesting choices in the collection in terms of organization, but many of the short stories and memoir pieces left a mark. It's a book that has aged well, but I was also disappointed that it was so Chicago-centric, and left me wanting for more anthologies, particularly hungry for a contemporary QTPOC creative writing anthology from the Midwest.
