Review # 1 was written on 2019-10-04 00:00:00 Angel Batallan I really enjoyed reading this book as it provided different perspectives to poetry. One may call it an introduction: I believe it also alters the way you think of poetry. The formal techniques, form and structure are discussed on an introductory level. However; the opening up to various theories depending on a particular aspect such as history was quite useful. It definitely is an eye opener. Uses fantastic examples to justify its arguments. Thank you.
