Review # 1 was written on 2010-11-04 00:00:00 Eric Quinn Took a few years to get thru, but here we are! A nice time capsule of poetry, long poetry, a long time coming. Honestly, the best poem was Allophanes, but there wasn't anything in here I hated. Just a real treat. I like the long-poem for the room it gives to breathe and come to an idea at a different pace. I think this book would have done better with more women in it, but that said, I'm sure there's some newer anthology that has just that, and that I could just go looking for it. I'm happy I did this. It was the first anthology I finished reading since I graduated and my brain feels okay about it.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-06-20 00:00:00 Darnell Gates I managed to find a copy of this book at Cheap Thrills, I was super impressed. Early Cohen, Atwood, and Layton. If you can find a copy, I would say its a gem among paper trash.
