Review # 1 was written on 2017-05-19 00:00:00 Tim Rubio There were some nice/cute stories of encounters with wildlife in this book. I found the wildlife biologist in me a little bugged at times by some of their more invasive actions in order to get photographs (like making noises). But I still liked several of the stories like the porcupine one.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-07-23 00:00:00 Stephen Bernard Hill I was first introduced to Farley Mowat by the film, Never Cry Wolf as a kid. Loved the movie! As an adult I have read bios about him and then found this book at a rummage sale. Love reading about Mowat's adventures, discoveries and feeling his humanity as he encounters humans and animals around the world.
