Review # 1 was written on 2017-07-01 00:00:00 Amy Thigpen This is a pretty cool book. My parents had me enter a poem in it when I was young, telling me it was a poetry contest. After getting my hands on one of the copies we bought at the time I realized that it's actually a compendium of amateur Canadian poetry. The idea behind it was to compile a wide range of poems from everyday people across Canada, with no real theme other than to record Canadian voices. If you were interested in looking at a book like this from the perspective of anthropology it's a great read. Compilations like this don't come around too often.

Review # 2 was written on 2021-01-04 00:00:00 Gail Wenger I managed to find a copy of this book at Cheap Thrills, I was super impressed. Early Cohen, Atwood, and Layton. If you can find a copy, I would say its a gem among paper trash.
