Review # 1 was written on 2018-02-06 00:00:00 Todd Traub This is a very interesting reference book about magic which is a bibliographic essay on all aspects of magic. Although it is now rather dated having been published in 1986 there are many references to classic books of magic. I particularly liked the card magic, history and biography sections. |
Review # 2 was written on 2021-05-15 00:00:00 Gene Siegrist I haven't made it through every single page... These maps will take years to comb through and I'm so grateful to have this beautiful reference as the centerpiece of my coffee table. I have, however, finally finished reading all of the educational information that accompanies these maps. At times it felt like reading a reference book because I was, indeed, reading a reference book. But it also felt like reading history, sociology, geography, and poli-sci all wrapped into one! |
