Review # 1 was written on 2019-09-24 00:00:00 Brenda Callahan Ziggy Piggy and the Three Little Pigs is a cute twist on a classic story. Everyone knows the story of the 3 little pigs and the big bad wolf, but not a lot of people have heard the Ziggy version. Similar to the original, there is a big bad wolf that is coming to each of the brothers' house. He threatens to "huff, and puff and blow it down!" He succeeds in the first 2, and surprisingly with the brick house as well. Then Ziggy saves the day by being smart even when they all doubted him, which is similar to the classic version. I think this story is great for young kids. Not only are the pictures bright and fun, but the story is also easy to understand and fun to read about it. The best part is, it contains an important life lesson! The story can teach children about being resourceful in tough situations. This is always a great quality to have. It can also teach kids to trust their instincts, even when those around them don't. Ziggy was confident in himself and in his plan, and in the end it benefited all 4 of the brothers and he ended up the hero!
