Review # 1 was written on 2012-08-08 00:00:00 Andy Benedict This book is excellent, and a must read for those intrigued by energy work and energy healing. She goes through each of the chakra systems and explains how imbalances in these systems manifest in out physical bodies. It is profound in its explanations of how shutting ourselves down from our own truth inhibits and blocks success, health and well-being from many areas of our lives. We can often do things in the appearance of doing the "right" thing, when it defies our own intuition of what is right or wrong for us. When it comes to truth, you can run, but you can't hide. It eventually will catch up one way or the other. This is a very thought-provoking read. Highly recommended!

Review # 2 was written on 2013-09-26 00:00:00 James Daniel Ramsey Iii I couldn't get past the story of King's horrible upbringing to get to the spiritual stuff in this book. From what I did read, there wasn't really anything in there that lots of other spiritual authors haven't already wrote, without the agony of going into her sexual abuse past. I don't know about other people but when I read a book I really identify with the author when I'm reading so this was absolute torture for me to read & instead of enlightening me brought me down. If you're the empathic type don't read this book. If you can read about sexual abuse without getting sad, etc, then maybe you can get something useful from this book.
