Lyman takes the reader from the days of Native Indian tribes through various Dutch and English settlements up to 1964. Immigration patterns, labor and housing issues, politics, and transportation developments are all covered. There is a goodly amount of detail regarding personages, locations, and problems faced and resolved (for the most part). |
