Review # 1 was written on 2012-11-15 00:00:00 Lois Rector If you can find a copy of this book (thank you UWL WGS Library for having this one), it's a really interesting read in 2017. It was published 40 years ago and was one of the first books to talk about sexual harassment as a pervasive problem in the workplace. While we have made strides, a lot of this book rings true today. |
Review # 2 was written on 2017-04-29 00:00:00 Vicki Mottley After reading a few other books in this series, I was surprised to find I didn't enjoy this one as much. Especially since the subject of this one is of one of my favoritly flawed presidents. John Adams never got the respect that he deserved for his work fighting for our country's independence or his role in shaping our government. I felt this book was missing that special something needed to leave its reader with a sense of who John Adams was. |
