This endearing read uses pictures to portray fathers in different cultures and places around the world. It shows a variety of different hobbies and fun activities children do with their fathers in different places. This book has a touching point that no matter the shape or form of the expressions of a father's love, it is always as strong and meaningful wherever you find it.

This is a MUST READ! The big, picture book has actual photos of fathers around the world as they interact with their children. I chose to add this book to my collection since it depicts a different side of dads. Often they are presented in a negative light and stereotyped as being absent or of a bad influential nature. However, there are many positive, proud fathers out there who play very active roles in their children's lives. I applaud the author and photographer for providing an index at the back of the book. As I flipped through the pages, reading the headings and gazing at the photos, I wondered why particular photos or poses were chosen. After completing the book and perusing the index, I was no longer confused. It provided clarity, information about the fathers, and pages numbers to easily revisit photos of interest.
