Review # 1 was written on 2018-10-15 00:00:00 Michael Murphy Loved this book. It had a storytelling tone which helped me feel that I really got to know Leta. Klein didn't hide Leta's shortcomings; rather, she gave perspective. I highly recommend for anyone interested in the history of gifted education as a field and for anyone who loves strong female role models. |
Review # 2 was written on 2016-08-26 00:00:00 Mark Provenzano I'm asking myself if I should pass this book on to my husband whose father, at 91, is in the hospital. His dad is normally a sweet, kind, soft-spoken man who has now become combative and not coherent. I will wait for a better time. A great story if it didn't hit so close to home. |
