The last week is the best as we spent the whole week going over the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and we realize how Great God is to give us these marvelous gifts of the Sweet Holy Spirit! I was not so faithful to reading this as I wish I had been, but more faithful than in prior years. My prayer is that I may continue to have a few more years and that each one to come I will be better about attending to the Wisdom contained herein! February 25, 2020: Will begin this tomorrow. Will also sign off Goodreads today and not return until after Easter. Apr 03, 2011: I've always wanted to use this as a daily reading. I've got the complete series and I've dipped into it off and on at various times over the years but never stuck with it for any length of time. So far, now I am and I really feel like I'm "in conversation" with God. I like it!

Dipping in and out of this since I have a lot of other regular Catholic reading going on (working my way through the psalms with commentary, reading some of the Catechism daily). However, as so many times before, I find it of inestimable practical use. My original comments are below. ============ I have used this series for 20 years, ever since I picked up whichever book was appropriate for the liturgical time we were in. Even after so long, there is new food for thought and for "conversation." Also, I realize how much I have been formed as a Catholic by the overall message about living daily life by sharing our small joys and sorrows with Christ. One could do much worse. I picked this up after a few years in the end of Lent and found the absence considerably freshened it up for me. It is of inestimable value as I proceed into Easter.
