Review # 1 was written on 2012-07-12 00:00:00 SINTHYA SALENAS Mainly academic snippets on Lorine Niedecker's work, accopanied by two of her poems in full. I would have prefered a poem collection. Should've read the commentary more closely.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-04-14 00:00:00 Christopher Muscarella This is an extremely useful anthology and is an invaluable representation of modern poetry - I find it really useful to refer to when reading other texts. Often a poet is mentioned in an article or used in another anthology and I find him/her in this book. I love the small biographies before each poet's work and the foreword by Sean O'Brien is an excellent overview of modern poetical movements. All in all, a very good read and buy.
