Review # 1 was written on 2021-02-28 00:00:00 Cecilia Calderon Mainly academic snippets on Lorine Niedecker's work, accopanied by two of her poems in full. I would have prefered a poem collection. Should've read the commentary more closely. |
Review # 2 was written on 2019-04-30 00:00:00 Christopher Mcduffy This is an extremely useful anthology and is an invaluable representation of modern poetry - I find it really useful to refer to when reading other texts. Often a poet is mentioned in an article or used in another anthology and I find him/her in this book. I love the small biographies before each poet's work and the foreword by Sean O'Brien is an excellent overview of modern poetical movements. All in all, a very good read and buy. |
