Review # 1 was written on 2010-06-24 00:00:00 Ira Levine Marc Chagall is my favorite 20th c artist and one of my best gifts ever was having the chance to see an extensive Chagall exhibit when I was visiting my cousins in France. Thanks Guy! As an overview and bio sketch, it was pretty decent; though I do question some of the editorial choices in terms of picture placement and the pieces featured. I was surprised and disappointed that none of the fabulous pieces we have in Chicago were part of the selections.
