Review # 1 was written on 2014-12-28 00:00:00 Harry Watkins Good introduction to Scottish Whisky. The Whisky trails takes you round the main whisky producing areas of Scotland. Along the way, you'll take in many breathtaking landscapes, you'll visit a wealth of places of interest, and you'll learn much about the workings and history of this great traditional industry. This book is a recommended read for serious whisky drinkers. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-11-14 00:00:00 William Ohara Evidently, I enjoyed reading this book - I am biased towards Scotish single malts. There were a couple of points that I am not sure about (i.e. the author places Aberlour on the right hand of the river Spey, gives an explanation for "the" Glenlivet that is slightly different than Michael Jackson, etc.) but overall, an exciting excursion into the World of Robbie Burns's ol' poison of choice. |
